About this record
- Supporting evidence
- Cherie Toland said she filmed the seal on Saturday afternoon, 6 September 2025; RTÉ published the report on 12 September. She learned from locals that the seal had already been reported about three weeks earlier, so those prior reports are not entered here as her encounter. Exploris had first been alerted at the start of August, and the article says tubing might have been present since May; neither is an observation date for this video. No individual identity is stated.
